NiMh Batteries

:: Charge your pack the night before you are to race it.
:: Charge you pack at a maximum rate of 5 amps.
:: Run each pack once before you run the race, but allow them to completely cool. Some NiMH cells seem to run better in stock class if they are on their second cycle.
:: Do not completely discharge the battery, it can damage the cell. See your particular battery manufacturers recommendations for discharging NiMH cells.
:: If you don’t plan to use your NiMH battery for a while (over the winter months), cycle them through at least once each month. These batteries “don’t like to sit around and do nothing.”
